Fourth of July 2013

Our morning started with special red velvet pancakes with a cream cheese glaze. Brooklyn thought it was a cake, and loved it.

Once Kevin got home we headed over to Nana's (originally we had plans to spend part of the day with our Sunday school class, but the girls had been sick just a few days earlier and I didn't want to risk spreading any germs)

Sparklers! The girls Love sparklers, it was hard to get them going with all the wind. I think we went through an entire box before we got the hang of it.

This was our first time to try these poppers, again the girls loved them.

Almost accident in 3...2..1..
Notice the popper is pointed directly at McKennas face!

And if you were ever wondering where my girls pick up those strange faces they make, well I guess its from me! Kevin Thinks this picture is hilarious.

Once the sun went down we all went out back to watch the fireworks show from Nana's back yard.

After the show Kevin lit off a few fireworks, not many, this year was really about watching the girls enjoy the show any enjoying it with them.
Our best 4th so far!

On the way inside for bath time McKenna found a spider and had to follow it around for awhile (until he ran to hide in the grass and she couldn't find him)

Happy 4th of July!
