February Snapshots

These are in no particular order, just fun pictures that I enjoy looking at from February.

I am pretty sure this was Brooke's first time bowling! I think she liked having friends to play with more than the actual game. Still it was fun to watch her learning and trying it.

 Little chocolate lover.

These last two were sent to me from Kevin's phone.

Park Playdate with Cousins

After a Birthday party for one of Brooklyn's Friends, Kevin and Brooke went to play with Eli. Brooklyn adores Eli and Kevin really enjoys anytime he gets to spend with his nephew of course.

Earlier that morning, we are trying out ways to get her super straight hair to curl.

Swinging at the birthday party.

She is really starting to get brave lately!

 More swinging.

Valentines Day 2013

 Valentines Day 2013

The wednesday before valentine's day I hosted a very small get together for our mops group. I kept it simple with cookie decorating and a goodie exchange.

Goodie bags and treats for the kids and mommies.

On valentines day Kevin left the girls and I gifts and notes before he went to work, as the girls were opening their gifts Mckenna saw something of Brooklyns she liked! Lately Brooke has had to be more and more protective of her toys. Its annoying to brooklyn but cute and funny to me.

Proud Daddy

Getting our kids in baseball/ softball  is probably one of the most talked about things since I First found out I was pregnant.

Since we know that this season will be Brooklyn's first season to play, Kevin couldn't wait to go help pick out her very first bat. (seriously the day I agreed to sign her up, we were on the way to the store!)

He is so happy to be doing this, with her.

Lucky for Brooklyn daddy was with her (I would have just picked a pink one) evidently they have to be a good size and weight for each person. Who knew!

T-ball with Dad

Earlier in the week I signed Brooklyn up for T-ball with the Sachse Baseball Association. Kevin Could hardly wait to get to the store, pick up her equipment and start practicing! I even had to remind him that somethings had to wait until we knew which team she would be on.

Almost everyday since if Kevin is home early enough, they go out and practice (for as long as Brooke will cooperate)

As of now Brooke is not a fan of hitting the ball, but she loves to throw it (according to Kevin she is pretty good at it!)

Kenna is Brooklyn's #1 Fan and WILL NOT look away when Brooke is playing. I'm so happy that as McKenna gets older, I can see the girls getting closer.

Kevins 25th Birthday

This year I wanted to do something extra fun for Kevin, knowing he is NOT the birthday party type, I made plans with his mom beforehand to watch the girls a little later. Then surprised him with a trip to the batting cages after our dinner.

He was really surprised and excited once I pulled in to"batting place" lol. We had a lot of fun It was just what we needed to break up our busy week.

Me looking silly in the slow pitch section (I hit MAYBE 3 balls)

Kevin "showing off" spent most of the time in the fastpitch section, he and two other guys had some sort of mini competition going on.

Because kevin liked it so much and it was so fun for me to be able to do something special for him, you better believe I am already planning a fun Birthday activity for next year!

New Car

By far one of McKenna's favorite birthday gifts was her new pink Car. Almost daily since getting it she or Brooklyn can be found playing in it.

Big sister helping Daddy put the car together, while Kenna naps.

Taking it for a test drive! While the car sits a little low for mom and dad to push, its perfect for sissy! (such a great big sister)

McKenna's 1st Birthday Party

Trust me when I say; I did as much as I could to keep this short but I could only narrow down my pictures so far! With that being said...

I spent several months gathering supplies and putting together things for Mckenna's party. I was trying to make it easier and less stressful but some how I still managed to put off the big projects, and not even Finnish a few, until just days before (you would think I would know better HA!)

Even with my procrastination and a few hiccups with the cake and cupcakes, McKenna's birthday turned out wonderfully! I am so thankful to have so many wonderful friends that would take time (on super bowl Sunday) and celebrate with us.
The set up.

The Food

Cake Time
McKenna was not to excited to try her cake and she HATES being dirty, but she did enjoy a few bites before she decided it was time to wash up and get down.

Family And Friends
All the great people who showed up to celebrate with us, Thank you all so much
